Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has thanked Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for his “strong partnership” in assisting flood-affected communities, with additional financial support announced for LGAs in Victoria and Tasmania.
“National government, state government, local government all working together – that’s how we keep people safe and that’s how we recover from what is a record-breaking flood event,” he said.
